Our Level 2 & 3 Business Studies students are participating in the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) this year. This gives them the opportunity to create their own mini-businesses and compete against other students around NZ for cash prizes. On 28 February, several of our students attended the YES Kickstart event at the WINTEC Atrium along with many other participating Waikato schools. They met business owners who helped mentor them reflect on and develop their business ideas further. One of the mentors was even a former NHS student, which was exciting for our students. Later in the year we'll invite the public to purchase the products our students develop!
