Ngaruawahia High School is a unique Kura, which has provided the families of Ngaruawahia and the surrounding areas with quality co-educational education for almost 60 years. As a school, we embrace the spirit of the Treaty of Waitangi and encourage bi-cultural and multi-cultural perspectives.

The school day is from 8:45am to 2:30pm.
Term 2 runs from Monday, 2nd May to Friday, 8th July 2022.
The school office is open from 9am - 4pm weekdays.
The Ngaruawahia High School Board wishes to announce the resignation of our Principal Chris Jarnet, with effect from the end of this 2022 school year. The Board would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the huge contribution Chris has made to our school and community over several decades. The exciting new buildings currently being built at the school reflect his hard work. Major building processes are taking place at school. Although this will not disrupt normal school operations during normal school hours, I ask that the community stays clear of the clearly marked construction areas.
