On 6 July, I took some of our outstanding Year 9 students to WYLD Waikato Young Leadership Day at Waikato Uni. They were able to hear inspirational stories from others who have overcome obstacles in their lives to achieve success. They heard from head students across the Waikato and learned leadership principles to help them in their high school years. They have come up with ideas that they aim to carry out in Term 3 to improve our kura and practice their leadership skills. Our students were awesome! — Matua Ryan
