Hello, my name is Jatin Bali and I am very excited and honoured to have been appointed to the position of Deputy Principal at Ngaruawahia High School. Many years ago I completed a teacher training placement at this school and thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
I was born in India but when I was 5 we migrated to Hamilton where I grew up and attended Melville High School. After finishing my training at the University of Waikato I worked at schools throughout the country: starting at Menzies College in Southland, Mahurangi College in Warkworth, Auckland Grammar School and most recently at Rototuna Senior High School in the capacity of Head of Science.
I have completed a master’s degree in educational leadership and am passionate about providing quality learning experiences for students and creating a positive environment for both students and staff so that they can work to their potential. I look forward to working with the students, wider community and staff and to help contribute to the school’s success.
