He uri whakaheke ahau no ngaa whakapapa or Ingarangi, engari, ko Aotearoa tooku kainga. Ko Mauao te maunga, ko Tauranga te moana, ko Uretara te Taniwha, ko Aongatete te waikoiora, no Katikati ahau. It is an absolute pleasure to be back at Ngaruawahia High School; I was here in 2010 as an English Teacher and now I’ve returned as Head of Department. I am really excited for this new role and look forward to interacting more with the community.
