Ngaruawahia High School has accepted the Government Donations Scheme for 2020 whereas the school will receive $150 from the government per student to fund what was previously school donations by the parents.
The only exception to this is that the school can ask for donations for overnight camps/trips. Curriculum based or core related learning program costs cannot be charged for as a fee.
We can still charge for non-curriculum activities such as sports (if your child chooses to participate), non-curriular trips and uniforms.
If you have an automatic payment set up with the school, you may be paying too much next year. This will depend on what extra curriculuar activities your child will participate in.
