NHS Touch Team

Our touch team was a group of 15 players including Ngawi, Jewels, TakuAroha, Tiare, Kitana, Kahu, Mihi, Leilarne, Teira, Kristian, Cruz, Brayden, Kaea, Neon and Portman. We trained every Tuesday afternoon after school & competed in Wednesday night competitions in Nawton to build up our skills for secondary school touch nationals in Rotorua. We played some very tough competitive games but we loved it and enjoyed it. It was a great experience to be a part of and the thing with our team was that no matter what the results turned out to be we were happy and knew what we needed to work on for our next games and how we could improve. As a whole team we would love to thank Matua Carl for coaching us and teaching us new skills and game play and Whaea Haz for managing and storing everything out for us making sure we had everything. We all appreciate everything you have done for us.
