Matariki Week was an exciting and busy opportunity for our business students to make plans, prepare products and sell those products to the public. The products included honey, heat packs, hot chocolate, lollies, tie die clothes, jewelry, photoshopped photos, toffee apples, donuts, and gluten free brownies. Students learned and experienced the various aspects of running a business, from finances, to marketing to production. The results of their hard work were on display at the NHS Matariki Festival on Wednesday, 25 June 2022 in our recently renovated school hall. Nearly all of the businesses made a profit on the night and each contributed $20 towards "Manaaki Marae" to help refurbish our school Marae. Thank you to everyone who supported them leading up to the day and purchased from them on the night. The students are keen to sell to the public again in the future! ---Matua Ryan
