Congratulations to Hinemoana and their house leaders Antonie Molleman, Daeton Moana-Ruland and Jewels Maniapoto for winning our inaugural Top Waka House award.
Well done to all of the students and house leaders who enthusiastically participated, whether they won or not, and helped build whanaungatanga at our kura. This was our first year of reintroducing houses and we associated each with a real waka hourua. The competition was close for 2nd place! Here are the final points and placings:
4th Place: Haunui 275 points (orange)
3rd place: Marumaru Atua 335 points (green)
2nd place: Te Matau a Maui 337 points (purple)
1st place: Hinemoana 362 points (white)
