The Auckland Writers Festival has become an annual trip for our students. We had a great day listening to New Zealand authors and international author Jason Reynolds, who created Miles Morales (Spiderman). Our students were inspired to be creative and to share their stories. We want to thank the Auckland Writers Festival for sponsoring a bus so we could attend and for Whaea Gemma and Matua Nick for their help. Bring on the next festival in 2024! --Whaea Eliza
