Student Uniform Statement

Every student who enrols at Ngaruawahia High School agrees to wear our school uniform correctly.

Uniform is available from The Warehouse in Te Rapa with the exception of the Physical Education uniform, which is able to be purchased from the school office. It is school policy that all students (other than Year 13 students) attending Ngaruawahia High School wear correct uniform.

Student Uniform Requirements

FOOTWEAR 

Winter: Closed, flat, completely black shoes, including laces and soles. Shoes may be fabric or leather. Boots and high top shoes are not acceptable. 

Summer: Completely black, open-toe sandals with a back strap. HOSIERY Students may wear plain black socks or plain black pantyhose. 

SKIRT 

Regulation black A-line skirt 

SHORTS/TROUSERS 

Regulation black shorts, trousers or school logo trackpants. 

SHIRT 

Regulation short or long sleeve blouse or shirt. Any clothing worn underneath must not be seen. 

JERSEY AND JACKET 

Regulation green woollen jersey and/or school jacket. 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION 

Regulation Ngaruawahia High School PE shorts and singlet/T Shirt. 

HATS 

A regulation school beanie or bucket hat is available. School hats are to be worn outdoors only. 

SCARF 

A regulation, embroidered scarf may be worn.
